Yatzi is a score tracking app for Yatzy. Your privacy is simple: your data stays on your device, and multiplayer data is only transmitted temporarily when you choose to play with others.
All data — including player names, game scores, highscores, and settings — is stored locally on your device using your browser's localStorage. No data is stored on our servers beyond active multiplayer sessions.
When you use the multiplayer feature, the following data is sent to our server to enable real-time gameplay between devices: player names, game scores, and a randomly generated device identifier. This data is only used to relay game state between players in the same session.
Multiplayer rooms are temporary and automatically deleted after a few minutes of inactivity. No game data is permanently stored on the server.
On supported devices, Bluetooth Low Energy (BLE) may be used to discover nearby games. This broadcasts your player name and a temporary room code locally. No location data is collected or transmitted.
Yatzi does not use analytics, cookies, or any form of tracking. There are no third-party scripts collecting information about you.
Yatzi does not require an account. There is no sign-up, no login, and no personal information collected.
You can export your game data as a JSON file from the Settings page. This file stays on your device unless you choose to share it.
